Halcyon Counseling is inspired by the Greek myth of Halcyon who suffered profound grief at the loss of her beloved husband who drowned during his travels across the Aegean Sea. As she lamented, the gods transformed her and the spirit of her husband into magnificent, colorful birds who soar together, forever calming the sea for sailors and travelers.

For centuries, this ancient myth has inspired many poets and authors, and it is the basis for the expression, "Halcyon Days," meaning a time of tranquility, happiness, wellness, and prosperity.

The mission of Halcyon Counseling Center is to help calm the storms of life and restore wellness and happiness.
